Hermanos Por La Salud is a 503-c charitable organization working to empowers communities in rural and impoverished Nicaragua to improve their own health, education, and overall quality of life.
By forming partnerships within communities, drawing upon local strengths and experiences, we seek to create economically and environmentally sound programs as a means to aid improvement within the areas of public health and education.

Education
Hermanos Por La Salud has established programs in the areas of Education to ensure that children and adults throughout the communities are provided with high-quality primary and secondary education.

Community Development
Hermanos has worked with members of the community to establish a Cooperative. The Cooperative pools resources to create new opportunities and address the most pressing health problem in the community, poverty.

Health
Improving public health through clean drinking water programs was the communities first priority. We have also sought to increase access to healthcare through training of community health workers and creation of community pharmacies.
